OF THE CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD
OF THE CITY OF MARY ESTHER, FLORIDA
March 15, 2004
The Code Enforcement Board (CEB) held a meeting on Monday, March
15, 2004 at 5:30 PM at the Mary Esther Council Chambers, Mary Esther,
Florida.
CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Mr. Phil Keesee, at 5:45 PM
ROLL CALL
Present: Mr. Phillip Keesee , Mrs. Rachel Fay , Mrs. Jill Crew,
Mr. Steve Weimers
Absent: Mr. Bill Zuppa
ALSO ATTENDING: Mr. John Colowish, Attorney, Mr. William Bradley,
Code Compliance Officer, Ms. Peggy Jimenez, Secretary, Mrs. Penny
Weimers
RESPONDENTS: None
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Minutes approved.
NEW BUSINESS:
Mr. Steve Weimers was sworn in as new board member.
OLD BUSINESS
Review of the Code Enforcement Board Rules and Regulations was
continued from last meeting. Suggestions were to add “and
a Notary Public” to Section III (D), and to change “code
inspector” to “compliance officer” throughout
the document. All suggestions were adopted by the board pending
approval of final document at the next meeting. Mrs. Fay made a
motion to seek legal advice on the possibility of board action on
noise violators within the city limits. Motion was seconded by Steve
Weimers. Mr. Colowish suggested that Mrs. Fay contact the State
for possible action since it would be very difficult to apprehend
the violators. Motion carried forward to next meeting.
ADJOURNMENT
A motion was made by Mrs. Fay, seconded by Mr. Weimers, to adjourn
the meeting at 6:30 pm.
