COMPANY OFFICER/ SHIFT CAPTAIN

The City of Mary Esther is seeking applications and resumes from responsible persons with the following qualifications:

Must be a state of Florida certified firefighter, Municipal Fire Safety Inspector; Fire officer I or obtainable within one (1) year. EMT certification is a plus. Must have at least four (4) years experience in the fire service in a supervisory capacity. Requires considerable knowledge and skills in the application of modern day principles and practices of firefighting, rescue and emergency medical services. Ability to effectively command in an emergency situation. Possession of a current CPR card and a valid Florida Drivers license is required. New hires are required to successfully pass a Physical examination and drug screening. Must have abstained from the use of any tobacco products for at least one (1) year prior to application. Position open until filled.
