The following information is provided on this page:
Water meters are read the second week of each month and bills are mailed on the 29th or 30th of every month. If you do not receive your bill, please call the office at (850) 243-3566 ext 15 or email Utility Billing. NON-RECEIPT OF BILL DOES NOT EXEMPT YOU FROM THE CONSEQUENCES OF NON-PAYMENT! Please read about different options for payment below. BILLS ARE DUE UPON RECEIPT. A 10% penalty is added to all balances not paid in full before close of business on the 15th. A drive-by drop box is located in the parking lot of City Hall for your convenience or you can mail your payment to:
Mailed bills MUST be received by close of business on the 15th to avoid penalty. Any account delinquent after 12:00 noon on the 26th of the month will be assessed a $30.00 penalty and the water service will be disconnected without further notice. Water will then remain off until all charges have been paid in full. Please do not let this happen to you!! The City staff cannot grant extensions or exceptions.. You may also set up the account to debit directly from your checking account by filling out the ACH form. Please fill out the form provided to pay your water bill in a timely manner convienent for you! Fill in highlighted areas for correct processing. Please use the form provided to disconnect water service. Return in person or by mail, email, fax (850-243-0736) or drop box located in the City Hall parking lot. ******************************************************************************************************************************************************************** City of Mary Esther Water & Sewer Rate Schedule SEWERSewer charges do not apply to swimming pool fills up to 20,000 if the City of Mary Esther is notified in advance of the estimated gallons to fill the pool. This discount may be used only once every two years. TAXUtility tax is equal to 10% of water charge only. GARBAGE SERVICEContract garbage service is required by City of Mary Esther Ordinance and is provided by Waste Management. Charges are included on the water bill for residential customers and are due upon receipt. The current residential rate is $14.47.
