Public Records Request

The City Clerk is the designated custodian of public records for the City of Mary Esther. All public records requests for any city record(s) must be made to Dana Williams, City Clerk, by phone at 850-243-3566, ext. 11, email or in person at City Hall between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.  Please note that not all public records are maintained on the city’s website.

According to Florida Statute, Chapter 119

  • You do not have to give your name or the purpose for which you are requesting the record.

  • The City is not required to create any record in a form not currently maintained.

  • The City is not required to perform your research, therefore for broad requests, you may receive more information that you need or want.

  • Requestors are always permitted to inspect records rather than or prior to receiving a printed (or electronic) copy; however, inspections will be monitored and dependent on the extent and time involved, an administrative charge may apply

  • There will be a charge for paper records in accordance with F.S. Chapter 119.07
