[ARCHIVED] US 98 Alternatives PD&E (220426-2, 220196-2) MARY ESTHER

Please see attached for information regarding the three build alternatives that are being considered. Two of these require a 140 foot wide right of way and another is 126 feet in width. After considering the various social, cultural, environmental and engineering issues with all of the alternatives, FDOT has determined the 126-Best Fit Alternative appears to be the most logical choice for the recommended alternatives for Mary Esther. However, all alternatives remain under consideration (including No Action Alternative), and a final decision will be made after the Public Hearing (tentatively scheduled for October of 2018) and evaluation of public comments. In advance of the public hearing, you will receive a notice of its exact date, time, and place.

You can also go to the link below to see all exhibits presented at the October 2017 Public Alternatives Meeting.
