Recent information from the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office reports there is an upswing in stolen vehicles by an "out of county gang".These vehicle thefts are occurring in Mary Esther and throughout the entire County. Please take steps to ensure your vehicle is not one of the 'chosen' by removing all valuables from your unoccupied vehicle -- especially weapons! -- and lock your vehicle any time you are not in it.
